Woodenitbeloved (or WIBL as we affectionally call it!) is the brainchild of Jean and Jan. Yes, we are mothers to two kiddos and I don’t know why we thought we need another ~child~ but we shop a fair bit and there were a lot of things we wish can be more easily available here? In a way that shipping won’t kill us. So that idea of having an outlet to sell things had always been the back burner of our minds.
And so one day WIBL was born!
We toyed with the name (hehe geddit geddit?) for a bit and decided that WIBL is our favourite cause it’s punny and cause wooden toys are our focus! We chose the woodpecker (it’s very well fed cause it works very hard hehe) cause a woodpecker shapes wood... and it pecked out the little geometric heart it’s housed in. The colours are the favourite colours of our firstborn (at that time cause bubba’s favorite colour is now BLUE that imp zzz).
You know that feeling when you happily bought something and then came back and then stumbled upon it cheaper somewhere else? Then there’s that deep rooted feeling of “omg i shouldn’t have bought it” and suddenly your happy purchase is a reminder of a mistake of sorts? We want to avoid precisely that! So yes, we strive to bring in quality toys at affordable prices. Affordable being - cheaper than if you try to get it on your own. We hope that you walk away happy - always :)
